This was a wonderful project to re-design a family home that they had lived in for a number of years and was time to update the look and feel. The house benefits from a lot of natural light which is a wonderful opportunity to play with different materials and textures to show off smaller details. We used gorgeous linens for bespoke sofas and cushions in the living areas, some stone and wooden finishes for lighting and flooring and added colour through commissioned artwork and styling items. By keeping a soft, neutral colour palette, we created a timeless scheme that could work for the family for years to come.
In the TV room we included a stunning orb light to make the most of the double height ceiling. Bespoke cabinetry updated the room not only to offer storage and wonderful spaces for styling, but also made a cosy space for movie nights with upholstered footstools for stretching out on.
In the formal lounge, we designed beautiful bespoke sofas made with studding details on the frame, extended curtains around a large bay window so as not to lose any light when the curtains were pushed back and an elegant yet simple wood burner installed.
We loved rearranging the master ensuite to create a stylish area to relax in, a freestanding bath and gorgeous metal details in the mirrors and feature lighting. The dressing room had some simple updates to the door designs and contemporary handles added along with a gorgeous backlit mirror. We included one of our favourite upholstered stools to add softness.
The scale of the open hallway leant itself perfectly to a large piece of art between the floors. We also worked with Ben Lowe to create a gorgeous feature piece in the TV room.
We designed a number of cloakrooms and bathrooms, each with their own style for their users – family bathrooms, teenagers en-suites and visitors shower rooms. Light fittings, shapes and tiling designs gave each one a different yet cohesive feel.
