We’ve recently began working on two kid’s bedrooms designs, one for a girl and one for a boy. To get out initial ideas for the schemes, we met with the kids and discussed with them how they’d like their new rooms to look.
For the girls room, we’re working with a colour palette of teal and pink, and a hint of lime. We talked about possibly including some animal print. We’ve got some really fun ideas for this room, and will keep posting any developments, along with some of the ideas for the boys bedroom too.
The remaining cushions for the Chorleywood bedroom project arrives this week – again lots of lovely textures and colours, that all sit together for a fun, eclectic look.
Here they are, stuffed with their feather pads, and in situ against the Farrow & Ball ‘Elephant’s Breath’ wall colour. The headboard that will sit behind is currently being made, and will be a fantastic backdrop to these amazing fabrics.
Another project we’ve been working on this week, is a lovely living room design for a modern country home in Aldenham. Using shades of indigo, white and linen, the palette creates a restful and homely feel. We’re going for a a love seat in the patterned fabric in the bottom left corner, and a soft, inky denim look fabric to recover their existing sofa, lifted with some cushions in the beautifu embroidered fabric in the top right hand corner and the soft printed damask just beneath the pen. We wanted to avoid a design that felt too matching, these fabrics should work well together to achieve this.
I look forward to showing you the update once it is all in place!
Happy weekend all 🙂
