It’s been another busy week and as we lead up to the Easter weekend I’ve been tying up some projects for clients before they head off on their travels. So it was a lovely surprise to receive these gorgeous, and rather enormous box of chocolates as an Easter treat from one of my lighting suppliers. We have just installed to hand made chandeliers of theirs, which the client absolutely loved.
Amongst looking after my current client projects, this week I have also been working on a styled blog post for DwellUK, who had recently sent me some vouchers to spend on some of their lighting. I chose this hammered copper lamp, complete with mirror like copper shade, and styled it against moody ‘Stiff-key Blue’ from Farrow & Ball, with some vibrant pink flowers, flickering candles and different wallpapers. I love the end result – it feels really luxurious but also warm and inviting. Read the full post here to see the end result!
Once again, I popped up to Chelsea Harbour Design Centre again this week to carry out some research, with a few client’s briefs in mind. I am currently happen to be working with two families who have just moved over from South Africa, so when I came across this embroidered elephant fabric from Kravet, I immediately thought of it for a little boys bedroom. Isn’t it fun?
Just before the Easter weekend began, this lovely little upholstered storage footstool arrived in this Moon checked fabric. The grey colour palette keeps it looking modern and not too country, so it is going to look great in it’s new home in Chelsea where it will be used as a coffee table. Can’t wait to see it in place.
Wishing you all a very happy Easter!
