I’m so pleased to share with you this week, the exciting news that the voting has now opened for the Interior Blog Awards! If you could possibly spare a minute to vote for me, please follow the link here. The voting closes on the 18th September, and those shortlisted for the Awards Ceremony announced soon after. Fingers crossed! Thank you for your support!
Aside from being terribly excited about the Amara Awards, we’ve also had lots of work to do this week, including putting colour palettes together and refining the choice fabrics within them. In a previous post I shared with you a hallway design using tones of aqua and coral, well here are some of the fabrics we’ve been playing around with. Once again, we have used a mixture of textures and scales of pattern to help create a well balanced feel.
We’ve also been choosing fabrics for a guest bedroom. Looking at soft calming colours (always a good idea for a bedroom!) but with a graphic design to give the room a contemporary feel. I particularly like the inky lines in these prints, which I think gives a softness to the geometric lines.
Hope you all have a great weekend, and thanks again for all your support with the awards!
Claire.
