I’ve recently been working on an exciting new project in Berkhamsted. My clients are making major changes to their home, replacing the entire frontage of the house and extending forwards at the same time. By doing this they are gaining lots of extra room, and so have asked for my help in redesigning their living space.
We’re starting with the master bedroom, dressing room and ensuite, and with it’s stunning views over rolling country side and generous proportions it’s set to be a really luxurious living space. Now we have decided upon the best layout of the space, the next stage is to refine the colour palette, fabric choices and product finishes. Keep an eye out for our progress!
One of the great things about my job is that I get to work with an amazing variety of suppliers from all across the world. This week I’ve come across a lovely company in Nepal who makes beautiful hand felt ball rugs, in a stunning range of vibrant colours. My Felt Ball Rugs wants to help others make their way in life – so employee women from households with a low income in Nepal and offer them a fair wages. Have a look on their website to see the full range of beautiful rugs that they offer.
If you’re a regularly reader of this blog then you might remember me showing you a design for a Living rom in Harpenden (take a look here). Well this week the cushions that we had made have arrived and are ready to be filled with feather pads, and will be delivered to client once the rest of her custom made furniture is ready to be installed. I can’t wait to show you the finished result!
They’re going to be a few more weeks yet, but I promise to share some images as soon as it’s all in place.
In the mean time, have a fantastic weekend everyone!
