Next week is London Design Festival! LDF is made up of lots of different events across town, promoting London as the ‘design capital of the world’. Suppliers will be launching their latest collections, and hosting parties to celebrate! I had a few meetings in London this week, so took the opportunity to visit Chelsea Harbour Design Centre to get a sneak peak of some of the new collections.
There was a great buzz at the Harbour as everyone worked to transform the domes ready for FOCUS (the annual event held at the harbour for design week). It was great to see the space mid transformation, including the building of the pop up restaurant by Tatler.
Each of the showrooms were also redressing their spaces ready for the event. Here’s some of GP & J Baker’s new collection set up in their showroom. Such a gorgeous collection of fabrics that sit so beautifully together.
I also managed to pop into Colefax & Fowler (who’s showroom I adore, not only for the amazing fabrics, but for the gorgeous scented candles they always have burning – they are incredible!). Here’s a preview of one of their new fabrics, a beautiful embroidery, something that the Colefax group certainly know how to do well.
This Sunday, I’ll be heading off to Decorex at Syon Park, for the first day of London Design Festival. Keep an eye on my instagram feed as I’ll be updating it with my finds as we go around.
